Talk Therapy

Jillian Bontke is a licensed professional counselor in Austin, Texas.

Jillian Bontke, M.Ed, LPC

I specialize in helping people navigate their young adult years, twenties and thirties. Adjusting to changes associated with early adulthood can be challenging. I believe therapy can be a powerful tool in achieving balance and making clearer self-determined decisions.

Depression, anxiety, relationship conflict, career related stress, and parenting struggles are among just some of the areas my clients face as young adults.

My approach to working through these challenges involves offering a comfortable and confidential therapeutic atmosphere that will help you feel relaxed and protected.

I also offer a walk and talk therapy option for clients who might be interested in getting some exercise or just enjoying the outdoors during our session.

I graduated from the University of Texas here in Austin with a B.A. in Communications Studies and I received my Masters in Counseling from Sam Houston State University. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (L.P.C.) in the state of Texas (License Number 66964).

I believe everyone can benefit from routine self-reflection, and compassion for themselves and others. When I am not working with clients I am usually finding my own balance and joy here in Austin. I love feeding ducks with my daughter, enjoying live theater and music, walking Lady Bird Lake, and finding the perfect breakfast taco.

I welcome the opportunity to meet with you to see if we are a good match. Successful therapy starts with finding the “right fit” therapist for you.
