Walk and Talk
Our mind and body work together. One way to get them working in sync is to combine our talk therapy session with some low impact exercise. Walk and Talk therapy is a service I offer in an effort to promote mental wellness while gaining some endorphins. Endorphins trigger positive feelings in the body and many studies find that people who exercise regularly benefit with a positive boost in mood and lower rates of depression.
If Walk and Talk interests you after an initial in office session, (to best assess if walk and talk is right for you) then we can hit the trails.
In case of rain we can meet back at the office for a traditional talk therapy session. I typically wear more comfortable exercise apparel for Walk and Talk sessions, and comfortable shoes! It is important to note that confidentiality is protected during Walk and Talk sessions, however, being in a public space does pose certain risks. We can plan for and discuss these risks before we hit the trails.
